The company “VASILIOS PAN. SIAMPIS AND Co” was established in 1953 by Mr. P. Siampis. It has been a family business for 3 consecutive generations ,active in Greece and especially in the Peloponnese and Macedonia: Focusing on quality and best service. Its clientele includes retail and wholesale (super markets, cash and carry, traditional greengrocers, restaurants. ships, hotels).

The company’s products are fresh fruits and vegetables harvested daily throughout the Greek territory. For the needs of the Greek market, the company imports from many European countries (Italy, Spain, etc.) as well as from Latin America (Argentina, Chile) and Egypt.

The company’s headquarters and distribution centre are located in the central market of Kalamata ,stores C 7 8 9 10 11. Including warehouses and refrigerators for preserving goods and maintaining freshness. In addition, the company meets the European requirements regarding food and vegetables safety (ISO-HACCP)

The company in order to collect the goods from the producers, sell and distribute them to the customers, has 15 refrigerator trucks 4 of them towed. Also in 1997, the company has acquired the most basic and direct partner: “THE REFRIGERATORS MACEDONIA SA”, which are at the 6.5 km Veria – Naoussa with registered offices in Kalamata. The President is Mr Siampis Vassilis.

Until today “THE REFRIGERATORS MACEDONIA SA” are considered a model unit, because of their chambers controlling the atmosphere, refrigeration and maintenance of the products but as well as machines GREEFA of the latest type for standardizationand
sorting ,based on the European certifications ISO-HACCP

With the help of “THE REFRIGERATORS MACEDONIA SA” the company managed to establish a branch there and spread to Northern Greece and to highlight the Messinian products throughout the country but also those of the wider area of Macedonia (supplying several stores of the vegetable market of Athens and Thessaloniki) the company also exports products to countries such as Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus etc. The company is characterized by the excellent service, the support of local products and agents and the kept tradition.

The aim of our company is the supply of all kinds in our field. With capacity of 25 people in Kalamata and 15 in Veria, orders are executed on the same day at set times and days with characteristic excellent qualities. Finally, “tradition for quality! ” was obtained due to the current location of the company as well as the 55 years of experience in the business.
